IT IS TIME FOR INTIMACY
The Lord impressed it heavily on my heart that it is time for His children to have intimate relationship with Him. He made all mankind because He desires companionship and fellowship Gen. 3: 8. Intimacy is His heart-cry! Like a bridegroom searching for His bride, Jesus is longing for intimacy with His Church. He longs to speak to you of His love and mercy. We were made to have communion with Him. Psalm 27:4, 8, 14; 63: 1-2; Isaiah 40:31. It is a call to come to the Secret Place, a deeper and richer fellowship with Him. Intimacy with God would release two things- revelation knowledge and divine wisdom.
In these last days, we cannot go on in life without His presence and guidance Psalm 16:11, Ps. 32:8. The only way to know His plans and His will is to spend quality time with Him. Please do not neglect Him! God wants to break the tendency we have to be comfortable in our spiritual state and to continually dwell in the familiar terrain. Don’t be comfortable in the old! There are new experiences in God, when His Spirit draws you into the well of His presence.
God is moving His people towards something much deeper and significant than we have ever experienced before. A great release is coming, the Church is about to be launched into a whole new dimension in the Spirit. This can only happen in the lives of those who yield themselves to God in intimacy.
Please note that He is longing and desirous of intimacy with you than you are with Him, so please draw near to Him. As you come daily, the light of His presence will transform you into His image 2 Cor. 3:18. This brings spiritual growth, maturity and ability to always access divine information in His Presence.
For me, I want to be like Enoch. I want to be the friend of the Lord, and to walk daily with Him. Genesis 5:22. I will never be satisfied with a life that lacks intimacy with the living God. It is a great privilege to sit in His presence and hear His voice.
In the Secret Place – a place of aloneness with God. You can start this daily walk by simply separating a special time to meet with Him called Covenant Time. You can quietly wait in His presence, worship, read your Bible or do as the Holy Spirit directs per time.
It is my prayer that this clarion call to intimacy with God will touch your heart if you are a seeking believer. I know your life will never be the same. Your obedience will bring great blessings and rest.
My soul thirsts for God, for the living God; when shall I come and appear before God? My tears have been my food day and night, while they say to me all the day, Where is your God? Psalm 42:2-3
