Things that trouble me.

     There seems to be so many views and opinions on the Bible. I want people to share their opinions on what I am about to say.Starting at the beginning,God created the heavens and the earth.I believe that and I am thankful it is that plain so anyone can understand it and choose by faith either to accept or reject it.The creation story in Genesis is given in plain words. My point is that God didn't by inspiration choose to go into the details. If he had who would have been able to understand it?So why get worked up on what a day means or is? I realize that much more is known now about the planet and the universe but can even the most learned understand just how much they don't and can't know. What would be the response if God posed to them the questions he asked Job.They would stand there in all their educated status just as humble as Job, not God but men who don't have the power or wisdom to create a universe from nothing.                                                                                                                             Other things such as prosperity doctrines and failure to recognize the Trinity also trouble me. However I have learned to have hope that God the Father will through the Holy Spirit bring these people to Grace by faith in Jesus Christ. The Church is Gods and he will uphold it through the truth of his word.He will defend it among the nations,He will present it as a bride to Christ the Lord.The powers of darkness will be destroyed.The meek shall inherit the earth. For now though we have to have faith in the testing,the trials that mold us into pure vessels. Thank you in advance. Please respond.
