to Jesus On the Web
I’d like to take a moment to welcome Brother Brian, and offer a brief
introduction/testimony.
One of my hopes, after joining JOTW, was that my dear friend and
brother in Jesus, Brian, might also come on board to offer the benefit
of his gifts, and share the abundance of his fruits.
Brother Brian is a man of unquestionable integrity, honesty, and
sincerity. He is a daily witness to the truth of our Father’s love in
both word and deed. I have known him for a number of years, and admire
his dedication to the study of Scripture.
In my varied and diverse group of Christian and “Christ-curious”
friends, he is my “Fighting Fundy”! He is one of the many blessings
our Father’s has bestowed on me. One given so that I might see the
error of any prejudices I have been harboring toward the Conservative
Fundamentalists in His flock.
Brother Brian is hard-headed and Bible-strong. But he is also
disarmingly gentle and authentic.
Although we often come from different points of view we rarely end a
conversation without finding some common ground. I believe what he
“brings to temple”, so to speak, should complement, sometimes through
contrast, not only my own post-denominational trinitarianism, but also
Brother Mathew’s knowledgeable interpretations, which is historically
Jewish, deeply philosophical, and, at times, mystically spiritual.
I’d like to think that this addition to the conversation is a step
toward discovering the “unified theory” which brings together “quantum
theology” and “Astro-Christianity”.
Peace, and All Good Things,
