The following scriptures have been given to me: Isaiah 19:1; Deuteronomy 33:26; Revelation 1:7; Psalm 68:4; Daniel 7:13; and Mark 13:26. The question regarding these scriptures is: Who is coming on a cloud? The evidently implication is that these scriptures prove that Jesus is Jehovah. My reply was as given below:

Daniel 7:13; Mark 13:26; and Revelation 1:7 are all speaking of when Jesus comes to judge the world in the "last day", the day of judgment when those who pierced him will "see" him in the figurative clouds of glory. -- John 12:47,48.

Isaiah 19:1
The burden of Egypt: "Behold, Jehovah rides on a swift cloud, and comes to Egypt. The idols of Egypt will tremble at his face; and the heart of Egypt will melt in its midst. -- Isaiah 19:1, Restoration Light Improved.

This is speaking, not of Jesus, but rather of the Mighty God and Everlasting Father of Jesus. -- Ephesians 1:3.

Isaiah 19:1 is not speaking of the resurrection of the "last day", as would apply in Revelation 1:7, when those who pierced Jesus will have been raised so that they would "see" him coming in the figuratively cloud of glory. Isaiah 19:1 is not speaking of the Christ's parousia, or of Christ's coming in the cloud. Various commentators assign the fulfillment of this verse in various ways, but not many make any claim that this has referene to Revelation 1:7. Of this, John Gill writes:

[quote]or a "light" one denoting the speed with which he came, he would come quickly, light clouds move swiftly; the suddenness and unexpectedness of his coming, clouds being rarely seen in Egypt, where was no rain; and the irresistible power with which he would come, for who or what can stop the clouds of heaven? not anything on earth, not armies, nor castles, and fortified places. The Lord is represented as riding in great state and majesty, as a general at the head of his army against his enemies; or as a judge going to try and condemn criminals; he rides upon the heavens, walks on the wings of the wind, and the clouds are his chariot, ( Psalms 68:4 Psalms 68:33 ) ( 104:3 ) so Christ is represented as coming in the clouds of heaven, and as sitting on a white cloud, when he shall come to judge the world, ( Revelation 1:7 ) ( 14:14 ) though these words are not to be understood of that coming of his; and much less of his first coming in the flesh, to which they are weakly applied by Jerom and others; who, by the light cloud, understand the Virgin Mary, as the Christians of Syria; or the human nature of Christ, as Salmero, who relates, that upon Christ's flight into Egypt, and entering into Heliopolis, and the temple there, in which were as many idols as days of the year, they all fell, and so this prophecy was fulfilled F18 but of the Lord's coming to inflict punishment on the Egyptians;

Deuteronomy 33:26
There is none like God, Jeshurun, who rides on the skies for your help, In his excellency on the clouds. -- Restoration Light Improved.

This is not speaking of the time when Jesus comes as spoken of in Revelation 1:7, but rather it speaks symbolically of Jehovah's help toward his covenant people, the children of Israel (called "Jeshurun" in this verse).

{Psalm 68:4} Sing to God! Sing praises to his name! Extol him who rides on the deserts: to Jah, his name! Rejoice before him! - RLIV

The KJV mistranslates the Hebrew word often transliterated "`arabah" (Strong's Hebrew #6160) in this verse as "heavens". This word appears 61 times in the Hebrew, but the KJV only renders it as "heavens" in Psalm 68:4.

Regardless, however, even if one renders "`arabah" as heavens or skies, it is not speaking of the same thing as Revelation 1:7.

Nevertheless, Jehovah comes to judge Egypt and the world through the one who he has ordained. -- Psalm 96:13; 98:9; Luke 1:32,35; John 5:22,23; Acts 10:42; 17:31; Romans 2:16; 1 Corinthians 4:5.

Nothing in any of these Scriptures means that we need to imagine and assume that Jesus is Jehovah.
