Matthew 4:7; Luke 4:12 - Did Jesus Claim to be Israel's God?

Matthew 4:7; Luke 4:12 - It is being claimed concerning these scriptures that "Jesus tells satan, 'you shall not tempt the Lord your God' in reference to Himself. This highly misrepresents what Jesus actually stated. What did Jesus actually say?

Jesus said to him, "Again, it is written, 'You must not test Jehovah, your God.'" -- Matthew 4:7, RLIV.
Jesus answering, said to him, "It has been said, 'You must not test Jehovah your God.'" -- Luke 4:12, RLIV.

Both Matthew and Luke record Jesus as quoting from somewhere else. We find that it is written in Deuteronomy 6:16:

You must not test Jehovah your God, as you tested him in Massah. -- RLIV.

Who, then is "your" in the phrase "your God"; is it not the children of Israel? (Deuteronomy 8:3) Was Satan one of the children of Israel? No. Was Satan born under the Law? No. It was Jesus himself who was born under the Law (Galatians 4:4) as being one of the children of Israel, and thus Jesus was applying this scripture to himself, that he, being born under the law, should not put his God to test.
