Job Description:

    10+ years of experience working with Cassandra in production environments, with a deep understanding of its architecture, replication strategies, and tuning techniques.

    Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, especially in managing distributed systems such as Cassandra within a containerized environment.

    Strong foundation of Linux administration fundamentals.

    Familiarity with observability best practices and tools, such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack.

    Proficiency in automation and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Go, Bash) to streamline infrastructure management tasks.

    Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on diagnosing performance and scalability issues in distributed systems.

    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.

    Technical Writing (Documentation, process documents, proposals).

    Kubernetes certifications are desirable (e.g. Certified Kubernetes Administrator

    (CKA) or Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD)).

    Knowledge of the cloud platform (e.g., droplets, spaces, networking) and infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., ansible, chef) is advantageous.
