Hi,
as you can see in the attached screenshot, the fonts look out-of-place with recent jes versions (as if they didn't use cleartype). For comparison, I also started 2.03.12, which looks fine.
Java is AdoptOpenJDK 8 (282). I also tried with AdoptOpenJDK 11, but this didn't make any difference.
So I suspect it's a change inside Jes which causes this.

Ich weiß leider nicht, was "cleartype" ist.

Hast du evtl. noch Zugriff auf ältere Versionen?
Dann könnte ich schnell testen, mit welcher Version genau es angefangen hat.
Cleartype ist die Windows-eigene Schriftglättung.
Es sieht irgendwie so aus, als ob da möglicherweise Java direkt das Fontrendering macht und nicht auf die Systemeinstellungen zugreift.

Ziwschen diesen beiden Versionen fällt mir eigentlich nur auf, daß sich die Reihenfolge geändert hat, in der zwei Anzeigeoptionen gesetzt werden. Das sollte sich aber nicht so auswirken. Ich hab es mal umgedreht und eine neue Version in denselben Ordner gelegt. Probier's mal aus...

Ich hab das jetzt mal so gemacht, daß der Anwender wählen kann... Standard ist: Nichts machen und das System entscheiden lassen. In den Einstellungen (unter "Benutzeroberfläche") kann man jetzt das gewünschte Antialiasing auswählen.
Es wäre gut, wenn Du die Testversion mal ausprobieren könntest - und gerne auch jemand auf einem anderen System (v.a. auf dem Mac).

Sieht soweit gut aus unter Windows (habe mit Metal und FlatLaf Light getestet) (DEFAULT)
Unter Linux (GNOME) ist ebenfalls alles ok (DEFAULT)
Unter Linux (Openbox - minimaler WM) funktioniert das Antialising dagegen nicht mehr. Egal was ich unter Ansicht -> Kantenglättung auswähle. In der alten Jes Version gab es unter Openbox kein Problem.
Davon abgesehen hab ich einen doppelten Eintrag für das FlatLaf Light L&F (siehe Screenshot)

Ich habe jetzt nochmal ein paar Sachen geändert und die Testversion aktualisiert.
Die Einstellung DEFAULT heißt übrigens auch OFF, d.h. das Look & Feel entscheidet über die Kantenglättung.

Hab die neueste Version getestet.
Unter Openbox bekomme ich nach wie vor keine Schriftglättung aktiviert (egal, was ich unter Ansicht einstelle).
Gnome und Windows sehen ok aus.

Ich habe das Problem offenbar gelöst. Warum es gelöst ist, weiß ich leider nicht, aber jedenfalls sehen die Schriften jetzt auch in Openbox ordentlich aus. Die Testversion ist aktualisiert.

Ich habe nochmal aktualisiert.
Bei Linux müßte die Einstellung für die Kantenglättung egal sein, außer bei Openbox (ON). Bei Windows dürfte das Erscheinungsbild von ON und LCD unterschiedlich sein.
Ich bin gespannt...

Ich habe mal auf allen Systemen getestet (in virtualisierten Installationen). Es sieht gut aus. Basis-Einstellung ist jetzt "ON". Auf Windows kann - je nach Geschmack - "LCD" besser aussehen. In den Einstellungen habe ich die Auswahl auf DEFAULT/ON/LCD reduziert.

Ich würde zwar für Windows LCD als default/Basis-Einstellung verwenden, einfach weil's sich besser in die Desktop-Umgebung einfügt.
Aber ich hab auch kein Problem damit, das manuell umzustellen.
