The list was closed down to public discussion several years ago, and now is only used to disseminate JerusalemCouncil.org announcements. If you do not wish to be on this mailing list, simply follow the instructions at the bottom of this email.

This is an announcement to share that the JerusalemCouncil.org web forum is now back up and running to help address the needs of the global community of Orthodox Jewish and Torah-leaning disciples of Messiah Yeshua to connect and support each other. Even with the closure of the previous forum, and the shutting down of this mailing list, we still received thousands of inquires every year from people wanting to connect with others, and learn more about Orthodox Judaism from the perspective of our Master, and Messiah, Yeshua. From the Americas, to Europe, to Africa, and Asia / Australia - around the world, the need has been too great for any small group of individuals manning the inboxes at JerusalemCouncil.org to manage. This is why we are asking for your help to come join the conversations, and help shine the light of Torah in the lives of those of us may find themselves far away and alone from any support.

We want you to know that if you are a disciple of Messiah Yeshua, and you desire to walk out your discipleship to him as an Orthodox Jew without compromising your acceptance of the truth of who he is, then you are not alone. In fact, the greatest number of converts to Judaism from Christianity are those who are like you - and some of you may even be on the edge, wondering what is keeping you from forsaking Yeshua - where the draw to be accepted and find identity as an Orthodox Jew in the eyes of other Orthodox Jews - is immensely great.  The love for HaShem and His Torah, in walking it out daily in community with others, is a need that desperately needs filled. But so too is the need to acknowledge the whole truth: that Yeshua really is the Messiah as the Torah teaches.  It's time to have some serious, public (and for some - anonymous) discussions on the matter. If you find yourself on the other side, having rejected the position that Yeshua is the Messiah, please post too! In fact, this site exists for you - it is our hope that our answers will help bring you back to the truth of who Yeshua is, while at the same time helping disciples of Yeshua reconcile the truth of what it means to be a disciple of Yeshua, with Torah.

The JerusalemCouncil.org project still exists as a free association of like-minded disciples who want to learn more about Torah, halacha, conversion, and what it means to be a disciple of Messiah Yeshua. We may have been quiet for a while, but after much prayer and consideration we are being led to open up the conversations again.

To use the forum, you will need to register a new account and validate it with a working email address. The forum will be strictly moderated. Feel free to introduce yourselves on the forum and ask questions, and meet others disciples of Messiah Yeshua from around the world.
