Subject: [NJSBCL] Playing Without a Permit

Teams,
In recent days we have received more than a few reports of incidents at cricket
grounds where teams have commenced playing without a permit. Every time this
happens, our league is admonished (and sometimes fined) by the ground authority
and this seriously jeopardizes our chances of obtaining the permit for that ground
in the future. In some cases pitches have been damaged and the police have been
summoned.
You should not play on any ground without a permit and you must not play
without a permit on grounds for which our league normally has a permit. Any
team found trespassing can be barred from the league with immediate effect.
I know we are looking to get some practice in before the tournament begins, but
we would really appreciate your cooperation.
Thanks,
Rizwan
