Standard Maven Build fails when using artifactory plugin only in job chaing

Jenkins 2.0-1.1 (installed via yum)

maven integration plugin 2.13

artifactory plugin 2.4.7

artifactory 4.5.2

We hve a job chain with default dependenvy managment over maven integraton managed (automatic dependency resolution over pom).

artifacts resolved and deployed to artifactory

when i start a job in the chain manually, everytings is always fine

when job is started as downstream jon due to dependency build trigger, it fails, (but not everytimre!):

switching off artifactory plugin makes no sense to me because then the CI approach is not usefull to me anymore.

all other plugins are switched off in job config instead of jira integration (update relevant jira isues), which rus like a charm..

any ideas????

btw: 

- when i switch on: jira integration: job crashes

- when is  swicth on deploy build info to artifact, it crashes too ....
