Dynamically changing the root of where TFS pulls

I have another question.  When selecting TFS as the source for source code, the job builder (don't know what else to call it) requires that one put the location from within TFS that source code will be pulled from.  Is there a means of making this dynamic so that, through a parameter to the build, one could change the location for where the build starts?  Currently, it doesn't appear to be so but I wanted to ask.
