updating changelog when a build is run

Hi Guys,

I am new to using jenkins and wondering if you can guide me. When I run a build, a log file is created in a separate folder. Since this is not necessarily an SVN update the contents of the log files are not displayed under "Status" or "Changes". Is there a modification that I can do that will display the contents of a specific log file under the Changes tab ?
