Hi,

I am just getting started with Jenkins, and my setup is as follows:

1. I am using Jenkins from a docker container the Jenkins/Jenkins container.
2. On the same cloud compute instance, I have apache httpd running with three virtualhost blocks defined.
* The server names for the virtualhosts are host1.domain.com, host2.domain.com and host3.domain.com
* The actual fqdn of the compute instance is server.domain2.com
* I do not yet have dns alias records setup for the three virtualhosts, although that is in the works.
3. My Jenkins job will be running regression testing against one of the virtual hosts. The only way I know to actually access the virtualhost is using its server name in my browser. I have added hosts records for the three virtual hosts pointing to the same ip address.

My question is:

If I tell Jenkins to run my regression tests against host2.domain.com, how will it know where that is? DO I have to edit the hosts file on the Jenkins container, on the cloud compute instance, or is there a plugin to help with this kind of setup?
