update 2.289.2 ldap not working

Hello,

I update the jenkins to the 2.289.2 and the ldap authentification is not working any more.

The ldapsearch command is working.

Any idea what could be wrong ?

I managed to install AD plugin instead (I removed the config.xml), but the config.xml with my old ldap configuration is coming back at each restart => what is this mechanism? thanks in advance

That's not built in.

Check for the presence of Groovy hook directories: https://www.jenkins.io/doc/book/managing/groovy-hook-scripts/

If you're using https://plugins.jenkins.io/configuration-as-code/ check its configuration.

There may also be mechanisms external to Jenkins that restore a specific configuration.
