Automatic config.xml roll back after time period

Did a quick search for Jenkins plugins but didn't see, but it could be i'm not looking for the right phrases or it just doesn't exist.

I'm looking for a plugin that will roll back a jenkins job configuration to a previous state after a defined period of time. My use case is this, some of the developers I support request one off, temporary modification requests to jenkin's jobs. Like I need XXXXX changed for the next 3 days, after which it can be rolled back to previous config.

Has anyone built a plugin like this?
