Jenkins is installed on Solaris machine. I need to run some .bat file that is located on some windows machine .How can I create that specific job in Jenkins?

Jenkins is installed on Solaris machine. I need to run some .bat file that is located on some windows machine .How can I create that specific job in Jenkins? (Note that Jenkins is located on Solaris machine).

Hi Rahul,

You need to create a Jenkins slave based on that windows machine - https://wiki.jenkins-ci.org/display/JENKINS/Step+by+step+guide+to+set+up+master+and+slave+machines
Then you will be able to create a Jenkins job with a 'Execute Windows batch command' build step
