Reset build ID

Is it possible to reset the build ID? I believe there's a plugin to increase the build ID, but not to reset it to a lower number. It might be a useful feature to be reset it when starting a new release of a product.

Nope, can not reset the build number. it is too ingrained into Jenkins

Build numbers must be increasing. So, unless you delete all previous builds, or create a new project, '1' is not a valid choice for next build number.
