Claim Plug-in broken for multi-config project

https://issues.jenkins-ci.org/browse/JENKINS-3675 documents a bug in
the claim plug-in. Unfortunately for me, all my useful projects are
multi-config. Has anyone got a fix for this, or have they found a work-
around?
