Large Multi Configuration Project, Paginate Status Page?

I have a new multi configuration project that is very large (10,000+ configurations).

The status page takes too long to load, is slow, etc. I'm suspecting that the 10,000 JavaScript calls that it's making overload the system just a bit.

Is there a way to paginate the status page? Custom status page plugin? Any other advice? Thanks,
