Jenkins read only user ACL issue with Maven Projects

Hi,
We have an installation of Jenkins 1.524 and Maven Project Plugin for the save version.
There are both ANT and Maven based Jobs configured.
When we create and add a user to the 'Jenkins Read-Only Users' list under authorization - their permissions are curtailed for ANT projects but for Maven based jobs they are still able to see delete, configure and build now options.
Are there additional configurations that need to be done in case of Maven jobs or is this an issue?
