Extensible Choice - Maven Artifact Choice Parameter (Nexus)

Hi, 

I tried Extensible Choice Parameter plugin (1.3.3 & 1.4.1) versions . along with Maven Artifact ChoiceListProvider (Nexus) 1.1.3 version to 

create a parameter with list of release versions from nexus repository. 

This shows exception "Timeout while connecting to your Repository Service. Please consider the Jenkins-Proxy settings. If using HTTPs also invalid certificates can be the root cause."

Could you please assist in other options. Requirement is to to have parameter with list of release versions from nexus repository.
