Remove Jenkins Menu

Is there any way to remove Jenkins menu (People menu- allow only to admin role) based on ROLEs. 

If not what is the possible way to remove form normal role uses.

Aside: You do know that the people menu provides the route for people to configure their own preferences within Jenkins (for example store their own credentials for use with credentials plugin aware actions, custom views, etc)?
