Pipeline - Define checkout outside of Jenkinsfile

Hello,

I would like to ask you if it is possible to define git repository for checkout outside of jenkinsfile and then for the build loads the steps from jenkins file.

I was not able to find it in Jenkins job configuration. I could add polling, and other things but not SCM.

Is there any way please?
