Remote call on JNLP4-connect connection

Hi,

 Our Jenkins ver. 2.46.1

project configuration is working till yesterday. all of sudden start failing.

Precisely , project does below things

1. Fetch code from git lab

2. Fetch code from external site using npm

3. create and deploys the package

project fails - even before step#1

Increase the PermGen size (google the error), or just run Jenkins on Java 8.

After increasing below memory settings - it is not working...

-Xmx2048m -XX:MaxPermSize=512m

That stack trace seems like an out of memory condition on an agent or on the master.  I think I'd first try disconnecting and reconnecting the agent.  I'd also check the JDK versions on the agent and the master are reasonably close to one another.
