Using properties file to pass around parameters

Hi,

I have a Java format property file with key-value pairs. I copy this property file from an upstream job but when I try to access the variables from the property file it is just empty. The mystery is it was working fine but today suddenly it stopped working. I'm copying the properties file to the workspace base directory only. Any help is appreciated.
