Difference between MAVEN_OPT and JAVA_OPT

Hi
What is the difference between JAVA_OPT and MAVEN_OPT uses jenkins? My build is susseful without configuring MVN_OPTS.

Java opts are options for the command line. Maven opts are options for maven. You could pass an agent in the java opts but not in maven opts.
