How to migrate jenkins from windows master server to linux

Hi all,

I want to know how to migrate jenkins(jobs,build plans,repo details) from windows to linux successfully.

What are the challenges I may face during this migration?

What are the testcases/validation I should do to check whether the process has been completed successfully or not?

Hi, search the ml archive about it there were many very complete threads about it recently.
In short: that should be straightforward: copy the whole .jenkins directory from source to target home, then start Jenkins.
Then: check logs, start builds and see if they (seem to) behave like before.
