CVS-Plugin with password storage

Is there anybody out there still using CVS?

My IT from time to time changes passwords of the user used by jenkins to access CVS and at the moment I have to modify a lot of jobs to make that work.

Isn't there a way to combine the use of jenkins' own password storage with CVS even though I can't directly select a credentials-ID from the settings?
