Docker based slaves and "no such computer" on Github push/poll

Hello,
I have Jenkins setup in Kubernetes with SSH slaves running on a Docker VM. My jobs are setup as Scripted Pipelines. The setup is working (although the UI stalls from time to time), and I'm able to run jobs manually from within Jenkins (i.e. Build Now/Build with Parameters) without a problem. However, when I job is initiated via Github push or poll I get errors such as:
ERROR: no such computer docker-66f5aeab4a062
Is there a way to get this setup to work? Thanks in advance for your help/advice!
