Log Parser plugin file location?

Hi

 

I have only just discovered the Log Parser plugin. The wiki page shows the parsing rules files living in /tmp.  How do people here usually manage their parsing rule files? Is it possible to store them in a scm such as Subversion?  Can they be taken from the active workspace?
