hey everyone,

I just installed thinBackup plugin version 1.2 and setup the schedule
for full backups to:

0 12 * * 7

Since yesterday jenkins (version 1.411 on CentOS 5.6) build queue says:

"Jenkins is going to shut down. No further builds will be performed."

but nothing happens ... especially no backup is written.
Can someone please help me out?

Check your Jenkins log. I had this happen and it was because the backup
failed; in my case the Jenkins process did not have permissions to the
backup directory. You can find the log under Manage Jenkins>System Log.

I have the same problem; there's nothing useful in the log. I'm just
giving up on the plugin.

Here's my log, fwiw:

Jun 1, 2011 4:48:58 PM
org.jvnet.hudson.plugins.thinbackup.backup.HudsonBackup backupJobs
INFO: Found 87 jobs to back up.
Jun 1, 2011 4:48:57 PM
org.jvnet.hudson.plugins.thinbackup.ThinBackupMgmtLink doBackupManual
INFO: Starting manual backup.

And then it just sits there, blocking all jobs, saying it will
shutdown, and never shutting down.

It's a known bug: https://issues.jenkins-ci.org/browse/JENKINS-9117
