Failed to connect to repository

Hello,

I am trying to create a new job in jenkins test server. I have created a node.

When I am creating a new job  -  selecting the GIT in "Software Code Management" section and adding the URL to repository I am getting the below error.

Failed to connect to repository : Command "C:\Program Files\Git\bin\git.exe -c core.askpass=true ls-remote -h git clone ssh://userID@<url>:59418/validation HEAD" returned status code 128: stdout: stderr: fatal: I don't handle protocol 'git clone ssh'

The clone is working fine on "git bash" and I am able to download the source code. The url was picked up from the gerrit. Please help in configuring for the new job. I am new to Jenkins. Thanks
