Unable to access Git Repositories from Jenkins in Ubuntu Virtual Box

Hi 

I am unable to  access GIT repositories from Jenkins in Ubuntu Virtual Box. Getting an error "Could not resolve Host: GITURL" Did any body faced this issue? Can you please provide resolution.

You'll likely need to check that the DNS resolution inside that virtual machine is able to resolve the hostname of your git server.

If the machine can run an agent, then you could create a job which runs a shell script that performs a "ping GITURL" or something similar that will confirm if the DNS configuration can resolve that hostname.
