Did the Jenkins version numbers just change?

It looks like the LTS version just went from 2.7.4 to 2.19.1. Was there a reason for this change (or any documentation/discussion around it)?

Perfectly normal.

LTS versions are based on weekly releases.

After 3 LTS releases, the next weekly is selected.

(There was a critical issue in 2.7.3 hence a 2.7.4 shortly followed, but that was the end of the line for the 2.7.x series, so now the next stage let.line was selected as 2.19.x... In approx 3 months we will have something like 2.29.x or 2.33.x depending on what the various weekly releases look like at the time)
