Need help with slave/master setup

I'm running into a problem when I'm trying to setup a slave machine. In the middle of setting up the slave, I try to launch agent from browser on slave, I get a pop-up window asking me to open or save slave-agent.jnlp. I'm not sure what to do at this point. If I try to open it, I get some message, like

Jenkins project9cc5c8aabcd1cb38ed9fecc6106b968f51d64ce443064f56b5d6f09d8467f0e2Jenkins

Can someone assist me on how to setup a slave machine for Jenkins ?
