My setup:

  • Jenkins v1.653
  • multijob-plugin v1.21

What doesn't work:

  • I see the job listed on a MultiJob view page http://jenkins/view/MultiJobViewName
  • I hover over the "Build" button on the right, which displays the hover text "Schedule a build with parameters"
  • I click the button, and expect to enter the parameters, but instead it immediately says "Build scheduled", but the job is not actually scheduled and nothing happens then.

Also the same happens on the MultiJob project page:

Workaround:

  • I go to the job page http://jenkins/job/Multi_Job_Name
  • I see an option "Build with Parameters" in the left Menu
  • I click the button, I enter the parameters
  • The job is executed.

Only happens on MultiJob view tab, works for "All" tab and regular "List View" tabs.
Probably somehow connected with

JENKINS-20080 which was fixed 2 years ago or so.

*  I hover over the  *Last Success* column always shows  " Build N/A "  button on the right, which displays the hover text "Schedule a build with parameters"
