I saw many threads on empty fields, but how does it work with credentials parameter where the field is none?

currently, when it's NONE, it fails with this error:

org.jenkinsci.plugins.credentialsbinding.impl.CredentialNotFoundException: ${GPG_PASSPHRASE}
