Are you working with a slave?
If so, sis you checked "Restrict where this project can be run" on the job?

The Wiki was just recently updated with this suggestion which also solved my problem.

Alain Faure says:
I had same issue. I solved it by using the link that download all HP stuff.

Maybe the link in the HPToolsLauncher.exe should be updated?

As Walter mentioned you can use also: http://AlmServer:8080/qcbin/start_a.jsp?common=true to install the ALM client

Since I don't really know how this test suite works, I was wondering if the links provided in the output should be updated to reflect the installation options. Since the link that is provided doesn't "work".

Sorry, I don't know much more. The whole process is a bit mysterious to me as I don't use the tool. I just installed the plug-in and run the install.

Hi,

Did you try to install the tool as Administrator?
"Open Internet Explorer as Administrator", then enter the URL from above., and install the tools. At least for me this worked out.

Joachim

Hi Joachim,
Thank you for the response,
I had tried opening as admin, because url won't install if opened normally. Even after installing the url, we are getting the same error. We tried to contact the HP support but they are pointing towards Jenkins Support for this.

Please respond if you need some more details regarding the issue,

Your valuable suggestions are very much appreciated,

Thanks & regards,
Vamsi
