Jenkins / Improvement JENKINS-61867
Calendar Plugin should have options to show/hide polling
Issue Type: Improvement Improvement
Assignee: Sven Schoenung
Components: calendar-view-plugin
Created: 2020-04-10 13:24
Priority: Minor Minor
Reporter: Roland Asmann

I installed this plugin as a Jenkins Admin to get an idea of how much is going on on our Jenkins and am generally pretty happy with the result.

However, since not all our users have the possibility/haven't had time to switch to a different way of CI Builds, we have literally hundreds of jobs that are polling every <= 5 minutes, which makes the Calendar-View absolutely unreadable.

I would love to see a some options added to configure something like this. Maybe I can then create 2 Views: 1 for actual planned Builds and 1 for all the polling – the latter would be useful to figure out if polling becomes less when my users start transitioning to GIT and Push-Hooks!
