If would be nice if Jenkins allows to offer e.g. combo box where I can choose plugin version I want to upgrade. It's useful when e.g. I want to upgrade some plugin and it's known the in the latest version is some critical bug, which is not present in previous version. This is just for user convenience to can easily do this via Jenkins UI and not have to do it manually by replacing the plugin on the file system level. It's also very inconvenient for those of us who only use the LTS versions of Jenkins, so when we upgrade, a lot of plugins have latest versions that are not compatible with the LTS, so in my case I just don't upgrade those plugins, which actually doesn't solve the problem, because when we go to the next LTS version the plugins will then have even newer versions which might not be compatible. So, for me, it would be great to not just be given a menu of all plugin versions to upgrade to, but be given the list of versions, and for each of those plugin versions, provide a compatibility indicator for the version of Jenkins I'm using.

It would be nice to have the plugin screen just show the latest compatible version of each plugin. That way, the default action is to simply bring them all up to date in a compatible way. This would help all installations, not just LTS.
