Replacing GSoC Mailing list by Discourse?

Hello,

I've been a GSoC org admin in Jenkins since 2016. At the moment I don't see any value in continuing to using the mailing list for this purpose. It wasn't actively used in the past years, and now we have a https://community.jenkins.io/ with channels prepared for Google Summer of Code.

I suggest archiving this mailing list, and documenting Discourse as the communication channel, with joining guidelines

As a former GSoC student, I agree with Oleg.

I used the GSoC office hours and gsoc-sig Gitter channel in the beginning and community.jenkins.io later.
