Thanks for the confirmation, Francis!
I also support having more contributors.

Fabrizio, I have granted you write permissions and made you a default assignee.
You should get an invitation to the jenkinsci organization soon.

Hi,

I would like to be maintainer of the ec2 plugin on behalf of my company
(Coveo). We have a pretty active fork (https://github.com/coveo/ec2-pl
ugin) where we have added features such as spot instances without
bidding and fallback when there are no spot instance capacity
available.

As for myself, here's my Github account:
https://github.com/julienduchesne
And my jenkins id is: julienduchesne.

I'd be able to dedicate about 4-8 hours a week on this plugin.

Let me know what you think.

+1.

Added Fabrizio to this thread, the current maintainer.
(And Francis, the previous maintainer FYI, who said IIUC though he was not able to commit to much anymore, he was still interested to keep his commit rights in case this comes back).

@Fabrizio, and Francis: what do you think? Seems like the level of time commitment Julien is offering would be hugely interesting to the plugin.
Are you OK with him joining the EC2 plugin maintainers team?

There's indeed a bunch of PRs that would welcome reviews and merge (or closing, which is also useful for cleaning up).

Thanks a lot!

I think this is a great idea, Julien looks to have done a lot of work, and that sort of time commitment will be very helpful.

Julien, feel free to contact me if you have questions and I will try and be responsive. And welcome!

@Julien done! Just merged your PR, and added you as a committer on the plugin (you will need to accept the invitation, normally).
Goes without saying, you will want to go through PRs and try and get reviews as much as possible from your co-maintainers.
Also please remember the Jenkins community does value some level of backward compatibility :-).

Thanks a bunch for your work!

I'd also be interested in becoming a maintainer of this plugin.
