Hi Jenkins developers,

I would love to host a virtual contributor summit in Q3 this year for
the Jenkins community,
Some details can be found here:
https://community.jenkins.io/t/agenda-idea-for-a-virtual-contributor-summit-2026-on-a-friday-in-q3/36798

After the contributor summit feedback at FOSDEM, I would like to focus
on working sessions instead of presentation style.

The main idea is, to have two time blocks, one in the european morning,
which is especially useful for asia and an afternoon slot for the
america timezones.
People from europe can join the first or the second session or join the
whole day. I have planned a long break so that interactive
(coding/discussion) sessions can also take longer without interfering
with the second block.

Feel free to give some feedback here or in the community posting and if
you would be interested to join.

Best regards,
Stefan

Hi Stefan,

I am definitely interested in joining if this is to go ahead, maybe also to volunteer with the organisation of the event if that is needed.

And, coming from the APAC region the European morning time slot is definitely a welcoming feature.

Best,
Kris
