deploying to snapshot repo fails

Hi

trying first time to deploy a snapshot (libvirt-slave:1.8.5-SNAPSHOT),
settings.xml is configured with the credentials i use for jira and
https://jenkins-ci.org/account

mvn deploy fails with 401 and i cannot login to
https://repo.jenkins-ci.org/webapp/login.html

since it is plain http i see the basic auth header beeing sent and receive
following json:

"status" : 401,
"message" : "Bad credentials"
} ]
}

any known issues, anything i missed to execute ?

Not sure if this is related, but I'm running into the a 401 as well when attempting to release the integrity-plugin:

Failed to deploy artifacts: Could not transfer artifact org.jenkins-ci.plugins:integrity-plugin:hpi:1.31 from/to maven.jenkins-ci.org (http://maven.jenkins-ci.org:8081/content/repositories/releases/): Failed to transfer file: http://maven.jenkins-ci.org:8081/content/repositories/releases/org/jenkins-ci/plugins/integrity-plugin/1.31/integrity-plugin-1.31.hpi. Return code is: 401, ReasonPhrase: Unauthorized.

I'm also getting 401. Looks like this is not on our side.

I was just having the same issue.  I'm attempting to release the slack plugin because it was previously abandoned.  I want to make a release since there have been a lot of changes since its last release.

I'm also facing the same problem. When I try to login https://repo.jenkins-ci.org/webapp/home.html?19 with my login/password I get an error '

 

• Username or password are incorrect. Login failed.'

 

 

whereas I didn't change it for a long.

I've reported this as an infrastructure issue; you can subscribe to
updates via JIRA if desired:
https://issues.jenkins-ci.org/browse/INFRA-240

Twitter shows that nobody has managed to release a plugin in the past
four days:

I also asked schristou on IRC to poke Kohsuke about this; hopefully
we'll see what comes of that.
