Hi all,

As you probably know, Jenkins Governance meetings have been inactive for a while. It is not a big problem for Jenkins LTS releases and SIG updates, they work well in the Developer mailing lists. LTS baseline selection could be also moved to the developer list. But we still have the expense approval process which requires discussion in the developer mailing list. There are some pending budgeting items for GSoC and Community Bridge, and we agreed to run a Jenkins Governance meeting on July 31st.

If you have any requests you would like to get approved, please start a dev list thread and add topics to the agenda here: https://wiki.jenkins.io/display/JENKINS/Governance+Meeting+Agenda#GovernanceMeetingAgenda-July31

Best regards,
Oleg

Where can I find the minutes of the last governance meeting?
I'd like to know the status of my budget approval requests.

Thanks,
Martin

Hi Martin,

There has been no meetings since your request.
I believe we can use previous GSoC budgeting agreement that we can use money from Google to self-fund the GSoC (JEP-8).
If all of us are in agreement that we can use the leftover money, we can proceed before the governance meeting.

I am a BDFL delegate so I could just accept the JEP for that taking the previous consensus, but IMO we need to rework it for the CDF world

BR, Oleg

Somehow I misread 31 -> 21. I thought the the meeting had already happened.
