Can't yank a live executor

We have a Jenkins 1.625.3.1 master that shows a so-called live executor. However, we know the job is stuck, as it has been aborted 3 hours ago. I tried doYank() of the executor, but I cannot:

Can't yank a live executor

Is there a way to recover this thread/executor without restarting Jenkins?

1.625.3.1 sounds like CB product, please contact their support.
