Hello

Is anyone interested in being the release lead for 2.528.3?

Planned dates can be seen on the event calendar: https://www.jenkins.io/events/#event-calendar
Release candidate by 26th November
Release on 10th December

Past release leads will be available to answer any questions and provide guidance.

Hi Shalini,

I mean you can work with Herve on this if he is willing since you will not have access to everything to handle the tasks on your own, as you are not a part of the Release Team. 

Herve, what do you think?

Hi Shalini,

Just wanted to check how are your time availabilities like. Will you have time on both next Wednesday for the RC and Wednesday, December 10 to work on the release? It would not be good if when we need to push and you are not available and hence nowhere to be found. Can you commit to the whole process and show up when you are required to?

To be honest, I would be more confortable with Kris as release lead for this one.
I was about to mention in this thread that I won't really have time to mentor someone for this release due to my current agenda, which changed quite a bit since my first messages.

I am available and can make time on Wednesday’s. If we are looking for Nov 26 and Dec 10, I can take up. Would you mind sharing is there a time of that day the release would be taking place or planned? So that I can plan accordingly. 


Since I did not go through the onboarding process yet, wouldn’t know if these information is already available there.

Not a problem Herve. I can take up the next one as well. 

Kris would it be possible to shadow you at this time for a release, so that I get an experience even if it’s not hands on. If you think it’s more to do or distracting I can wait for the next one.
