Convert Build plugin to Post Build Action

Hello,

I am working on updating an existing plugin that is configured as a build step.  I know how to convert it to a post build step, but I was wondering if there is a way that I can keep the settings when the plugin is updated.

To configure it as a post build step, the way is to extend the class from Publisher/Recorder based on your need.

So that is the easy part. The part I want is to be able to keep the configuration from the build step so people don't have to reconfigure the plugin.

I had seen that.  I think that I am going to end up just creating a new plugin altogether anyways.
