I am able to upload email-ext.hpi. the issue was missing dependency token-macro. once this is installed the upload worked

Further  gave gave SMTP server name, de-fault email suffix, and email address. But not able to receive test notification email. However i am getting message 'email send sucessfully', once test configuration button is clicked.

Can anyone let me know the reason for this.

Thanks

Is there a reason you didn't use the update center to install the plugin? It would take care of dependencies automatically.

You'll have to give us a lot more information if you want help with your issue. Post screenshots of your config, etc. Also, check your spam folder.
