Dynamic Rest Parameter plugin

A long while ago I created a plugin based on other parameter plugins.  We use it to generate drop-down, radio button or check-box list dynamically by reading JSON or XML REST APIs.  It also has Groovy functionality.  We use this to read versions of artifacts from Nexus and populate menus that then input into the POM.  I'd very much like to start contributing to the opensource community but aren't sure if it is needed or how to proceed.  I'd also like to properly acknowledge the contribution other existing plugins made in the creation of mine.
